We're honored to present a tribute to beloved former general manager Dan Kenney, whom we lost in 2019 after decades of service.

Artist Raphael Tiberino, the Club's current General Manager, has drawn a sketch paying homage to his predecessor and is offering prints for $50, with proceeds from all sales going to the Club's general fund. When you order a print, you'll be honoring Danny's memory and helping the Club survive.
About the Club
The Pen & Pencil Club is one of the oldest surviving press clubs in the country. Since 1892, the P&P, as it is affectionately called, has been open daily with nearly no interruption, including during Prohibition and World War II. It is the result of the merging of several membership groups and private clubs dedicated to journalists, editors and other members of the working press.
The Club is run by working journalists for working journalists and other members of Philadelphia's literary community, but all may join, regardless of line of work.
Support Our Educational Programs — Donate to the P&P Foundation!
The Pen & Pencil Club has established a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to support its educational activities and programs for our journalist and writer members.
The P&P Foundation will promote journalistic interest and visibility in the Philadelphia area, including by organizing educational events in coordination with our nonprofit partner the Pen & Pencil Club. The Foundation is based at the Club but is separate from it and has its own governing board.
You can support the Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation online via GiveLively:
