About this event
Dan McQuade, an iconic Philly journalist who died at 43 of cancer, was best known for a catalytic role in Bill Cosby’s downfall, an obsessive analysis of the Rocky training montage that spawned an annual 50k run, and for writing that always cut to the essence of his wide-ranging subjects, revealing the funny, strange, outrageous or profound. He was also our beloved friend. Join Dan’s family, and his extended Philly journalism family, for a celebration and fundraiser with readings of Dan’s work by surprise guests, Dan-approved pizza, a 50/50 raffle and more. This event is ticketed and a minimum $20 donation is requested. Tickets here.
