Track Changes is a new listening, reading, and conversation series at the P&P, where writers chat about their favorite records. This month month welcomes Translators and writers Niina Pollari (NC) and olga mikolaivna (Philly)!

Pollari is a poet and occasional Finnish translator. She is the author of the poetry collections, Path of Totality (Soft Skull 2022) and Dead Horse (Birds, LLC 2015), and the translator of Tytti Heikkinen's The Warmth of the Taxidermied Animal (Action Books 2012). She also writes and edits for the online literary brotherhood Zona Motel, and lives in western North Carolina with her family. Her new poetry collection, Risk Tolerance, is forthcoming from Autofocus in February 2027.
olga mikolaivna was born in Kyiv and works in the (intersectional/textual) liminal space of photography, word, translation, and installation. Her debut chapbook cities as fathers is out with Tilted House, and “our monuments to Southern California,” she calls them is forthcoming with Ursus Americanus Press. Her translation of Stanislav Belsky's first full length collection in English will be out with Dialogos / Lavender Ink. Other works can be found in mercury firs, Literary Hub, Cleveland Review of Books, Black Sun Lit, and elsewhere.
